The events department at the Lums environment Action Forum acts as a buffer between all the society departments. We are primarily responsible for materialising our mission of environmental protection and conservation. Life, our flagship event is a platform for young minds to bring forward and provide solutions to environmental vulnerabilities we face globally today. Supervising cleanliness drives, panel talks and awareness campaigns we aim at involving people and inculcating a sense of care for the environment.

Director Research and Publication

The Research and Publications department at the LUMS Environmental Action Forum(LEAF) focuses on reports describing studies that deal with adverse effects of human activities on the environment, not just in Pakistan but all over the world. The department aims to provide information on research, techniques and recent developments with respect to prevention and protection of environment from different pollutants. The department will also focus on phenomenons like global warming and climate change that may have unpropitious effects on humans and other biological and ecological constituents. The Research and Publications department of LEAF is also in charge of Pakistan's first ever student run Environmental run blog.

The Human Resources department at the LUMS Environmental Action Forum(LEAF) is primarily responsible for recruiting, managing and training the talented general body of the society. We are dedicated towards selecting the best and brightest members of the LUMS community in order to help us enforce our vision for a Clean & Green Pakistan. Human Resources will focus on providing you with the most comfortable and conducive working environment, and ensure that team morale is always up! We hope to carry this society forward like a family and are eager to bring you along on the journey!

The External Relations department at the LUMS Environmental Action Forum (LEAF) primarily focuses on managing relationships with LEAF’s external stakeholders. We are tasked with creating and implementing public relations, communications strategies and building and fostering relationships with all stakeholders. We work towards creating an environment where all our partners are aligned with us on our mission of making Pakistan clean and green.

The marketing department works towards improving the functionality and marketability of the LUMS Environmental Action Forum (LEAF). We attract various organizations and institutions to join hands with us in our quest to make our environment cleaner, greener and healthier. Our duties range from advertising and arranging publicity activities to dealing with LEAF’s partners.
